A US cannabis study confirmed that weed doesn’t decrease the sex drive. This post from Green Camp highlights how the results of the study were pretty telling.
A cannabis study confirmed the century-long question if weed improves your sex life. The answer — yes.
Stanford researchers Andrew J. Sun, MD and Michael L. Eisenberg, MD have confirmed a “positive association between marijuana use and sexual frequency” in a recent study.
With cannabis becoming legal in more US states and more countries around the world, there is not a lot of time to conduct all the necessary research before rolling.
Dr Eisenberg said that the data required for this study was pulled from the annual Centers for Disease Control and Prevention survey during various years between 2002 and 2015.
They compared the data about daily, weekly and monthly users with the records of those who never use and the results were pretty telling.
“What we found was compared to never-users, those who reported daily use had about 20 percent more sex. So over the course of a year, they’re having sex maybe 20 more times.”
He also said that the data compared was almost the same in any case compared. The more cannabis they smoked, the more they had sex.
Cannabis study confirms benefits for Alzheimer’s
One of the most important issues cannabis may help us solve is Alzheimer’s— cannabis has shown to be extremely effective in battling this degenerative illness.
Another recent cannabis study has shown us multiple ways in which “THC could be a potential therapeutic treatment option for Alzheimer’s disease through multiple functions and pathways”.
Yet another research from 13 years ago found beneficial properties of CBD for reducing neurotoxicity in the brain which makes cells die significantly faster.
There are more than enough proof that cannabis can definitely have a positive effect on these patients, but the main problem with these studies is a small sample size, the lack of political support.
